Crochet jewelry - gehaakt juwelensetje

For a dear friend who translated my professional website into French, I made this jewelry set as a thank you to her. She picked the colours, she loved the marine theme and expected only a pair of handmade earrings in return. I decided to surprise her with a matching bracelet.

Een lieve vriendin vertaalde mijn professionele website naar het Frans. Om haar te bedanken, maakte ik voor dit juwelensetje. Ze koos de kleuren zelf, vond het marinethema wel leuk. Ze verwachtte enkel een paar oorringen, maar ik verraste haar met een bijpassend armband.

De Bonte Fabriek

Zondag 14 april neem ik deel aan De Bonte Fabriek. En dus heb ik nog wat nieuw werk voorzien.

Sunday April 14th you can find me at De Bonte Fabriek, a craft show. I have prepared a selection of crochet earrings to match the bracelets and necklaces made earlier.

Gehaakte oorringen vooral, die passen bij de gehaakte armbandjes en gehaakte kettingen.

En een hele lading simpele gehaakte armbandjes, in tal van kleurtjes. Ze zijn leuk als je ze apart draagt, maar ook als je verschillende combineert voor een speels effect.

 

And I'm also working on a whole bunch of crochet tubes, to wear as a bracelet. You can wear just one or combine several for extra colour. 

A crochet weekend

The weather is bad, and yesterday it snowed all day. So, I decided to have a 'crochet day'. I made two pairs of earrings, a matching necklace for one of those earrings, wristwarmers and two cowls. I loved it! I want more of those crochet days!

I saw the pattern on Cherry Heart and loved it so much that I decided to make them too.

The crochet cowl is made with Austermann, the yarn is what makes this special, the crochet is very easy. On her blog Kristel of Wol en Zo shows you how to crochet this cowl.

New crochet jewelry

Now that I have been selected to participate in two fairs, I have to start working on some new items.
These past few days I have finished a pair of earrings in red and blue and a necklace in several colours  around the colour purple.

Nu ik mag deelnemen aan De Bonte Fabriek en aan Handgemarkt, ben ik uiteraard druk in de weer met nieuwe gehaakte juwelen. Om te beginnen een paar gehaakte oorringen in rood en blauw. En een gehaakte halsketting in diverse kleuren maar waar paars de bovenhand lijkt te hebben.

One more day!

Only one more day and my jewelry is officially for sale in the DasUniek Pop-Up Shop in Antwerp! I'm so excited!
All jewels are entirely handmade, including the polymer clay beads or roses, I even folded the boxes in which the earrings are wrapped myself.

More Roses for Rose

I'm still working on my collection for the DasUniek Pop up Shop, which opens its doors the 8th of December. Lovely pair of earrings with roses, this time in combination with a crochet ring, with a tiny tiny rose in the center. 

Nog steeds volop aan het werk aan de collectie voor de DasUniek Pop-Up Shop die op 8 december zijn deuren opent. Een nieuw paartje gehaakte oorringen met roosjes, dit keer in combinatie met een gehaakte ring met in het midden een piepkleine bijpassend roosje.

8 december komt snel dichterbij. Vanaf die dag ligt mijn collectie in de DasUniek Pop-up shop in Antwerpen. En dus ben ik volop nieuwe juwelen aan het maken. Deze gehaakte kettingen en gehaakte oorringen zullen er alvast te koop zijn.

The 8th of December is just around the corner. That day the DasUniek Pop-Up shop opens its doors in Antwerp, with among others my crochet jewelry. So I'm working on my collection. The crochet necklaces and earrings above will be for sale there.

Roses for Rose

Van 8 tot 28 december kun je mijn juwelen ontdekken in de DasUniek Pop-Up shop in Antwerpen. Nieuwe ontwerpen zijn dus volop in de maak. Een van de 'lijnen' die je daar kan vinden is de Roses for Rose. 

De eerste gehaakte oorbellen met fimoroosjes zijn net klaar. Alles is volledig handgemaakt, zowel de gehaakte kralen als de fimoroosjes.

Kleurrijk, schattig, vrolijk! Adjectieven genoeg om deze gehaakte oorbellen te omschrijven.
Ze vormen een leuk kadootje, misschien iets voor straks onder de kerstboom?

Een productief weekend

Niettegenstaande de hitte heb ik toch veel gehaakt (en gebakken) dit weekend.

It was very hot this weekend, but I managed to crochet (and bake cakes) nonetheless.

WItte oorbellen op bestelling

Een vriendin wou witte oorbellen gecombineerd met zilver om bij een bestaande outfit en ring te passen. Dit is het geworden.

Nu eens geen ketting maar oorbellen

Ter afwisseling van de halskettingen haakte en maakte ik dit paar oorbellen. Ik vind ze heel geslaagd. Jullie?
