Crochet a tube - buisje haken
Blijkbaar bestaat er wat verwarring over hoe je een buisje haakt. Het is niet zo moeilijk. In een eerdere post toonde ik hoe je start met een magische lus. Nadat je dat hebt gedaan, haak je eigenlijk gewoon verder in een rondje. Ik haak meestal zes vasten. Dat ziet er zo uit.

Homemade birthday cakes
Gisteren de verjaardag gevierd van mijn jongste dochter, en daar horen uiteraard zelfgebakken taarten bij. Als patissier in opleiding kan ik het echt niet maken om nog taart te kopen he :)
Eerst een zomerse tiramisu met lange vingers gedrenkt in sinaasappelsap en limoncello. En daarna een chocoladetaart met chocomousse en heerlijke kersen.
Yesterday we celebrated the birthday of our youngest daughter. This required cake, obviously. As a pastry chef in training I made the cakes myself. First a refreshing tiramisu with cookies dipped in a mixture of orange juice and limoncello. And a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and cherries.

Een productief weekend
Niettegenstaande de hitte heb ik toch veel gehaakt (en gebakken) dit weekend.
It was very hot this weekend, but I managed to crochet (and bake cakes) nonetheless.
Een setje van een armband en bijpassende oorbellen.

Zomerse inspiratie
De leuke katoendraad uit Portugal lag zo te lonken, dat ik het niet kon laten en dus meteen iets heb geprobeerd: twee armbandjes en een kleurrijke ketting.

nieuw materiaal!
Het is hier even stil geweest, omdat we op reis waren. Ik had gehoopt wat leuke kralen te vinden in Portugal, maar dat was niet het geval. Wel vond ik heel wat leuke katoengarens om te haken.
